Tata Motors, India’s largest commercial vehicle manufacturer, commenced the delivery of its Tata Prima 5530.S LNG trucks to Clean Green Fuel and Logistics Pvt. Ltd, a key player in the green fuel retailing and logistics sector. The first batch of these advanced LNG trucks was handed over today during a special ceremony in the city, with deliveries of the remaining vehicles set to continue in phases.

The initial order includes 150 Tata Prima 5530.S LNG trucks, with Tata Motors and Clean Green Fuel and Logistics Pvt. Ltd. also signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to supply an additional 350 units. This partnership underscores a shared commitment to advancing eco-friendly logistics solutions in India.

Mr. Milan Donga, Director of Clean Green Fuel and Logistics Pvt. Ltd, remarked, “As a two-year-old start-up, we have made significant strides in the logistics industry and remain committed to revolutionizing operations with green fuel solutions. The addition of Tata Motors’ advanced LNG tractors to our fleet marks an important step forward in making our operations greener.”

The Tata Prima 5530.S LNG is equipped with a Cummins 6.7L Gas engine, offering 280 hp of power and 1100 Nm of torque, making it well-suited for long-haul and surface transportation. With features like a Gear Shift Advisor and a premium cabin, the vehicle is designed for efficiency, comfort, and reduced operational costs. Its dual tank option offers a range of over 1,000 km, ideal for long-distance logistics.

Speaking on the collaboration, Mr. Rajesh Kaul, Vice President & Business Head – Trucks at Tata Motors, stated, “We are delighted to deliver the first batch of Tata Prima 5530.S LNG trucks to Clean Green Fuel and Logistics Pvt. Ltd. Their mission is to make logistics greener and smarter, and we are equally committed to the goal.”

Tata Motors continues to lead in alternative fuel mobility solutions, offering a diverse range of vehicles powered by battery electric, CNG, LNG, hydrogen internal combustion, and hydrogen fuel cells, catering to various commercial needs. This latest partnership is a testament to Tata Motors’ dedication to cleaner, more sustainable transportation.
